How do you cheer yourself up when you're sad?

-i listen to music or call my best friend, hbu? whats your sign?I work out..cardio, yoga..it's a great stress burner. After that, I will usually call my mom or a friend; try to vent :)I cry all my pain out because if I don't,

I take out my anger the next day on people

who do not deserve it.

I listen to songs that are happy, I eat ice cream/chocolate,

I get a manicure/pedicure, I buy perfume, I go on long walks

w/my dogs, I go on youtube and search for funny vid's, I call

my best friend, I write in my journal, I donate clothes, I go to

church.. I have different methods.

but what makes me feel cheer up the most is when I help

people w/their frusturations in life.
yeh usually i relish in the beauty of the moment. sounds lame, but when i feel sad or rejected i can listen to light hearted music and really change my outlook. Sometimes watching that 70s show or a cartoon makes me smile at all the adventures life throws at you. i feel fantastic now so maybe thats why i think its so easy.



but i dont so much think to call on a friend, because i might worry i get them down, so i escape reality by being totally enticed in a movie, show or some music :)

(I'm a Taurus) Well, seeing as I have nobody around to talk to or call, I deal with it by... sort of "absorbing" it, forgetting it. I try not to put myself into situations that will make me sad, as well. I've found music helps, too, like you said.

and I join a lot of forums so it's a constant change of settings and people

never boring that way and less attachment to one forum

Or I listen to music that fits my mood...

Or I call my best friend. Irony.
Usually talking to someone else helps you forget about the sadness ESPECIALLY if they are a fun person to be around.

laying outside because the sun. uv rays produce endorphins that make you happy
